Backward-curved centrifugal impellers are the workhorse of modern air handling — they deliver stable pressure across a wide flow range with high efficiency. CentriFan Intl’s EC range covers 53 models from 63 mm to 630 mm impeller diameter, all driven by external rotor EC motors.
Why EC external rotor motors
EC (electronically commutated) motors combine the efficiency of a brushless DC drive with simple AC supply input. Speed is continuously controllable, so a single model can serve multiple duty points in AHU, fresh air ventilation and refrigeration applications. The external rotor construction keeps the package short and the vibration low.
Typical specification format
Every model is documented with a full specification table — model code, voltage (V), frequency (Hz), speed (rpm), power (W), current (A), noise (dB) and operating temperature range. For example, a typical 133 mm EC backward-curved model runs at 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz, with power in the 45–55 W class and an operating range of -25 to +60 °C.
